Summary
Here are some reason why Taiwan should provide foreign aid. First, when Taiwan was in the difficulty, foreign country has given a hand helping us, so we should repay to international society. Second, Foreign aid becomes a trend that advanced follow, but this reason should be modified. Third, Taiwan has some oppression from China’s international status, so we should keep good relationship between our allies.
Reflection
I do not agree the second reason, because if we have no ability to follow the trend, our economic situiation will become worse. The prestige is not as important as people's live.

Government wants to find some excuse for the money diplomacy to Central America,
But President Chen Shui-bian still starts an investment plan of Taiwan and its Central American allies. Some people blame the government just changes new forms to replay money diplomacy. But vice president Annette Lu claims that this policy will improve the investment of private business there.
The opposite camp has different idea, they think the government should improve Taiwan’s status first instead of helping other allies. And if the policy puts into practice, there should be some measure of supervision to avoid corruption.
Reflection
I agree with the viewpoint that we should focus on the Taiwan’s financial status. There are still many people in Taiwan are too poor to live, and we should take care of them first, and then help other countries. We can not say money diplomacy is wrong because it still has some function to strengthen our international status, but how to avoid becoming a way to corruption is an important question.
